Porn allegations against Southwark youth worker

A COUNCIL youth work manager has been suspended following allegations he starred in a porn film.

Roger Eastwood, 36, has been suspended by Southwark council from his job as a youth work manager in Walworth with youngsters aged 11 to 20.

The claims were made in a Sunday newspaper and the film is alleged to have been made some years ago.

Southwark suspended the senior manager on Monday, April 20.

A council spokesman said: “We take any allegations of inappropriate behaviour by council employees very seriously.

“We have particularly high standards and expectations with regard to those working with children.

“Because this may be a safeguarding matter, as soon as we heard the allegations made by the Sunday People we removed Roger Eastwood from the workplace and began a full investigation into the issue.”
