Exclusive: Darren Ambrose: I'll stay an Eagle
Friday, 27 November 2009
DARREN Ambrose has said he expects to still be at Crystal Palace after the January transfer window.
The former Newcastle and Ipswich midfielder has already grabbed 11 goals this season and looks set to attract interest in the new year.
With finances tight at Selhurst Park it remains to be seen whether Palace chairman Simon Jordan would accept any offers made for the 25-year-old, who signed on a free transfer when he was released by Charlton in July.
But Ambrose has spelt out his desire to stay in SE25. He said: “I’m delighted if people are talking about me because it shows I’m doing well. But I’ll be looking to stay in the new year and build on my performances and goal tally."
