Exclusive: Warnock reveals interest in Wolves striker

CRYSTAL Palace have had to cool their interest in Wolves striker Sam Vokes - after the Premier League outfit asked for a loan fee for the Welsh international.

Eagles boss Neil Warnock was hoping to boost his attacking firepower with the temporary addition of the 19-year-old.

But the Palace chief has been forced to cool those plans.

He said: “We enquired about Vokes but there is a substantial loan fee involved which I think Middlesbrough and Newcastle have both agreed to."
