Boy stabbed multiple times in Bermondsey

A TEENAGER is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed multiple times on Thursday night.

Five men have been arrested in connection with the attack in Bermondsey, which happened at 8.30pm.

They are being held at a south London police station.

Police were initially called to Druid Street but officers are investigating the possibility that the assault may be linked to a disturbance in nearby Tanner Street shortly beforehand.

The 17-year-old victim was taken to an east London hospital where his condition has been described as “serious”.

Police said they were keeping an open mind about the motive for the attack.

The police need to start working really hard to tackle the animals who kill them selves because of ’territory’...which is stupid as most of these young individuals are young black boys and they were n’t even here when these areas where created. The law needs to toughen up, new severe rules to crack down on them. They cant create their own street politics or laws.

Now what is really going on, we seem to be living in a state of lawlessness, where the streets are ruled by thses degenerative animals, there needs to be a stand, and yes those parents who’s children are out there should also share the cell, i am so peeved offf with this nonsene. if you carry a knife automatic 10year jail, and if you killl never come out. 9 minutes ago

Just as I thought knife crime was abating, it back again. I’ve spent 25 years working as a secondary school teacher in Southwark and to this day I find it extremely hard to understand why anyone would use a knife/gun to hurt a fellow human being.
