DERBY came back from two goal deficit to draw today at Millwall, for whom a draw was hugely disappointing.
A Lee Gregory hat-trick was not enough for victory against County, who were looking for victory to finalise their place in the play-offs.
Lee Gregory opened the scoring when Lee Grant sliced a clearance to him in the 27th minute. The striker had time to advance and turn it around the keeper but Craig Forsyth also completely missed a chance to clear off the line before the ball dribbled over the line for the first goal in the 27th minute.
Millwall doubled the lead in the 36th minute when Richard Keogh's block on Lee Martin's shot hit his hand and referee David coote gave the hosts a second penalty.
Gregory converted smartly, with Grant going the wrong way.
But Derby hit back when former Palace winger Tom Ince curled a free-kick around the wall to make it 2-1 shortly before half-time.
