YAYA Sanogo opened his Crystal Palace goal account on Saturday - and team-mate Scott Dann is confident there are more to come.

The 21-year-old Frenchman netted in the first half of Saturday’s 3-2 FA Cup win at Southampton, only his second outing since arriving on loan from Arsenal.

Sanogo joined the Gunners from Auxerre at the start of last season but failed to score in his first season in English football.

But Dann said: “He hasn’t played many games at Arsenal - that’s what he has come to us for.

“He has got better each game. He was good last week and he was really good [at Southampton] - especially in the first half.

“He gave us that platform to build off. Him and Marouane Chamakh were causing problems for their defence.

“I think he can [be a regular scorer]. He’s shown he can get into those positions and we need to make sure we keep putting balls in the box.”... read on
