Palace: Guedioura could be out for two months
Wednesday, 06 November 2013
ADLENE Guedioura is facing up to two months out after punturing his lung and breaking two ribs in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 defeat at West Bromwich Albion.
The Eagles assistant manager Keith Millen said: “It is not good news.
“That sort of injury there is not a lot you can do apart from let it heal, you can’t do too much exercise. You’re looking at six to eight weeks out.
“It’s a blow. We were just getting him going really in terms of getting the best out of him.”
But Paddy McCarthy played 45 minutes for the development side in Monday’s 2-1 win over Brentford at Griffin Park.
“He came through that fine and is ready to step it up again now,” said Millen. “And Jonny Williams will be joining in a little bit of the training tomorrow. That’s pleasing.
“Hopefully those two won’t be far away from being ready after the international break.”
