Lions skipper Robinson won't be ready for Brighton game

Tuesday, 18 September 2012

MILLWALL boss Kenny Jackett does not expect his captain Paul Robinson to be fit again in time for Saturday's home game against Brighton.

The 30-year-old hurt his ankle in the 4-1 defeat at Hull on Saturday, in his first game in five months following a double hernia op.

And Jackett wants him back as quickly as possible.

"We have missed Paul Robinson in terms of his organisational ability and experience," said Jackett. "But we have options.

"I won't rush him back bacuase he has played very little football this season.

"We will try to enable him to recover from his injury and make the gap up."
