Paddy McCarthy setback for Palace

PALACE captain Paddy McCarthy is set to miss the next six weeks of the season after his groin injury became inflamed.

The Irishman has not featured for the Eagles since pre-season.

Palace boss Dougie Freedman said: “Paddy had an injection a couple of weeks ago and he is still a big worry - we’re looking at six weeks before he is back."
